Objective

  • To create a favourable environment for the European textile clothing and footwear industries that stimulates and enables the uptake of ICT and e-Business technologies
  • To harmonize business processes and data exchange architectures and standards, at European or international level, within the textile/clothing and footwear industries.

More specifically, eBIZ’s objective is to complete a reference architecture for interoperability, building on existing standardisation achievements and joining them in a seamless architecture at European or international level. Its ultimate objective is to create a favourable environment that would stimulate and enable the uptake of ICT and e-Business technologies, notably by SMEs, in those two highly SME-based sectors in Europe.
