Activities

Bringing together over 50 European companies & organisations, eBIZ undertakes:

an analysis of the current level of e-business adoption in the EU;
development of a technical reference architecture, applicable to e-business, covering the sectors whole supply chains;
on-the-ground Pilots to test results, different systems inter-operability and the value of data exchanging;
share results;
raising awareness on the digital value chains benefits by means of the tools developed in the project, particularly of the Pilots.

Synergies with other on-going initiatives will also be explored with a view to stimulate the use of project results, notably the application of standards through ICT, during and after the project implementation. A large involvement of European companies (both Large and SMEs) is expected to take place through pilot testing actions.
